Arts for Health Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, with the support of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Primary Care Trust, the Parents Forum and the Dreadnought Centre, has been running a series of creative activities for the siblings of disabled children over the last 2 and a half years.
The activities were initially designed for the children and young people to let us know what their needs are and what would help them in their day to day lives, so that organisations responsible for services for children, young people and families could improve the support available to the siblings of disabled children.
This has led to a comprehensive county-wide project involving a number of different organisations all providing activities that support and empower these children. We are currently running a program of creative activities in the Falmouth area, if you are interested in your child attending please contact our office.
