As part of the Great Dark Gathering Weekend in Penryn at the end of October, Arts for Health were excited to support Nina Woolcock and Sally Crooks from Cha Cha Cha’s putting on an afternoon of tea and dancing for all ages, from 0 to 90! Cha Cha Cha’s started the ball rolling with a series of visits to care homes in Falmouth where they chatted and danced with residents, who then attended the event. The tea dance brought together lovers of vintage music and fashion with those who were doing it the first time round! The big band got everyone dancing together with the youngsters being shown how it was really done. This event has generated a lot of interest so look out for future dances!
