What Can I Do?

Artists & Health Practitioners

We can support you through:

Opportunities to get involved in projects. All of our project vacancies are sent out by E Bulletin to artists on our database, and are advertised on our website. We pay national recommended rates to artists working on our projects (currently £25 per hour).
Networking events and monthly reserach discussion groups to debate current themes within arts and health and develop local projects and responses.
Training – we provide specific training opportunities in arts and health.
Support for project ideas that you have for improving health and well-being, including links to national and local strategies. Please note that we do not have funds to allocate to projects directly.
Links to research and organisations to support your development as a practitioner within the arts and health sphere.

Opportunities for practitioners to gain voluntary experience in health and social care settings.

Organisations

We can work with you in the following ways:
Raising awareness within your organisation of the potential benefits of arts and health activities, including national and international evidence and research.
Networking events and monthly research discussion groups to debate current themes within arts and health and develop local projects and responses.
Training and education for your staff in arts and health, including opportunities to get involved in projects.
Help in recruiting artists and practitioners to deliver your project ideas (our database currently contains details of over 350 local artists and practitioners).
Project management – working with you from your initial idea through to the delivery of a project.
