and confidence to lead and support creative activities for older people in care settings.

The course is designed to be accessible and relevant for those who are new to

running creative activities but is also flexible in providing appropriate challenge

for people with more experience. Participants will be encouraged to identify

their own learning goals as appropriate to their current experience so they can

confidently apply their new skills at work.  It is aimed at care staff,

activity coordinators, nurses, housekeepers and carers who work in health care environments, particularly with older people.

"This has made such a difference to me and all the people I work with and for"

"This course gave me the confidence in what I am doing, ideas and chance to

talk to others that have the same interest and motivation"

"Just wanted to say a big thank you for the inspiration, interest and fun that came with your course.  It's given me the confidence to step sideways ... at work and step into more creative pastures... which I'm delighted about"

Creativity In Care Settings is tailored for individual levels of experience and skill so it is equally suitable for care staff who are experienced activity coordinators and those who are new to this kind of work.  NVQ Health and Social Care students level 2, 3 and 4 can use the Creativity In Care Settings course to support their accreditation.
