Reading Allowed
We are looking for volunteers for our Reading Allowed project. This is to allow people with dementia to continue to enjoy books by being read aloud to, either in small groups or 1-1. Volunteers will receive training and be supported by a lead reader. For more information please click here.
You will need to enjoy books of many kinds and be comfortable reading aloud to a group. Expenses will be payable and you will be covered by our public liability insurance. You will also need to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check
The programme runs in the following locations:
Truro, Pool, St Austell, St Ives, Falmouth and Liskeard.

Volunteer Opportunities – Memory Cafés
Memory Cafés are fortnightly social occasions held all over Cornwall for people with dementia and their friends and families.
